It has been just over a year since the last batch of episodes, but the Kardashian-Jenner family is back. The Kardashians Season 8 premieres on Hulu today, Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 12 a.m. ET, and Hulu is promising that “a new chapter starts now.”
Ten weeks of keeping up
This season runs ten episodes, released weekly every Thursday. The premiere carries a title that is far too spicy to print in full here, and episode two, “Never Say Never, Right?”, follows on October 15. The finale is scheduled for December 10, which means the family will be part of Hulu’s Thursday routine all the way into the holiday season.
The show remains a streaming exclusive. Viewers in the U.S. need a Hulu subscription, with the ad-supported plan at $11.99 per month and the ad-free tier at $18.99 per month.
Kylie goes scripted
The bigger surprise of the week may be happening off the reality-TV set. Kylie Jenner is set to star in and executive produce Bachelorette Weekend, a new scripted thriller series for Hulu, with her sister Kim Kardashian also on board as executive producer. It will be Jenner’s first scripted acting role.
According to reports, the series is a murder mystery about a bride found dead in a pool during her bachelorette trip, with all of her closest friends becoming suspects. Jenner plays the bride, who pieces together the events that led up to her own death. The story is based on an unpublished book by Flora Collins and adapted by Lauren Oliver, the author behind Before I Fall, the Delirium trilogy and Panic, who also executive produces alongside Aaron Kaplan and Jaiden Kaplan. No premiere date has been announced yet.
A family brand that keeps expanding
The two announcements show how far the family’s Hulu relationship has stretched. Kim already made the jump into scripted television, and now Kylie is following with a role that plays cleverly with the glossy, friends-on-vacation world audiences know from reality TV, only with a body in the pool. For longtime fans, Season 8 is the comfort watch. For everyone else, Bachelorette Weekend might be the project that makes them pay attention.
